Ama yinehi Peyote Choker
This stunning choker was made by Cherokee sisters Monā & Precise Lossie using the intricate peyote stitch technique in vibrant tribal patterns.
Each choker necklace is adjustable, and is made using tiny size 11 seed beads in various colors using the peyote stitch technique around a central rope necklace. With peyote stitch, each bead is woven onto the form one at a time and requires extensive time and a creative vision to see the pattern before it is beaded. This necklace features a radiating lightning pattern in turquoise, gold, and fire colors. A striking and unique piece. Ama yinehi is the Cherokee word for Water Spirits. This item ships from the US.
