Sealed in Ice Blooming Quill Earrings

$60.00

These earrings were made by Ojibwe artist Tashina Lee Emery and feature natural porcupine quills encased in acrylic.
The quills in each earring are appropriated from Native American art originating from pre-colonial times. The quills are infused in the clear glue like ice, stuck in time, representing the preservation of cultural and identity over time and concealing the sharp edges of difficult memories. Sterling silver hooks. Price of domestic shipping included. This item ships from the US.
